The adjacent villages of Bugle and Stenalees offer a range of everyday facilities and amenities which are supplemented further by the town of St Austell about three miles to the south. There is a primary school nearby; a junction to the A30(T) about five miles to the north, and a station on the London Paddington line at St Austell.

Adjoining to the rear is an Attached Barn, a Stable and a further ground level Store, below Bedroom 1, which has its own external access - it is considered this Store could be incorporated into the ground floor accommodation if desired, and there is also potential to extend the existing accommodation into the rear Barn and stable - subject to all necessary consents and approvals.

To the side and rear of Treverbyn Farmhouse is a garden laid mainly to lawn with a timber and galvanised iron Lean-to Store about 15'8 x 12'8.

Opposite and to the front of the house is a hardstanding area for further parking with a pair of small grassed paddocks - in total, Treverbyn Farmhouse extends to about 0.69 of an acre.
