Helping farmers through the complexities of rural grant schemes

Having developed an excellent working knowledge of the rural grant system, particularly relating to the Rural Payments Agency, Stags Professional Services team is well-equipped to offer informed advice on the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) and rural grant schemes in Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and Dorset.

The BPS has evolved considerably since first announced in 2012 and we now see further complexities with applications, specifically with regard to "greening". Stags Professional Services team is well versed in dealing with these challenges and assist over 200 clients annually.

The team is also up to date with all current and new grants, and funding initiatives, meaning we are well placed to advise clients.

We can assist with:

Basic Payment Scheme (BPS), cross compliance advice, nitrate vulnerable zone requirements, rural land registration, countryside stewardship and capital grant applications.
