From Barnstaple, take the Goodleigh road and continue for around 1.7 miles. Take the right-hand turning sign posted towards Goodleigh. Stay on this road passing through the villages of Goodleigh and Gunn. Continue, ignoring the signs to Yarnacott and Swimbridge, and take the next right-hand turn at Stone Cross sign posted 'West Buckland and East Buckland'. Continue along this lane for around 200 yards and the entrance to 'Furze' will be found on the right-hand side. Go down the track towards 'Furze' and Great Meadow is located at the bottom of the track, on the right hand bend, before Furze.
