Originally the garden and carpark to The Globe Public House. Access is via the A3124 between the Public House and Hope Cottage to the North, beneath an arch way and tunnel. We understand that the site was last utilised as a car park in September 2017. The site is surrounded by gardens of adjoining properties and there are pleasant views in the distance. We understand that a planning application for the erection of 2 dwellings was refused in July 2018 by Torridge District Council. The associated documentation can be viewed on the planning tracker website. The application number was 1/0513/2018/FUL. The site is more clearly identified on the accompanying plan.DIRECTIONS
Leave Torrington on the A386 towards Oakhampton and just outside of the town at the bottom of the hill turn left towards Winkleigh, continue for around 5miles before reaching the village of Beaford. As you enter the village The Globe Inn is clearly identified on the left hand side with the arch way leading to the car park immediately before it. There is parking on the road outside.
