Known as the Gateway to Exmoor, Dulverton is a small but thriving rural town on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park nestled in the Barle Valley.

A popular tourist destination, this delightful West Somerset town offers excellent day-to-day shopping facilities, including a renowned butchers, supermarket, post office, bank, pharmacy, as well as good hotels, restaurants and B&Bs. There are medical, dental and veterinary surgeries. Dulverton Town Hall hosts many events and the town has its own Junior and Middle schools, two churches, as well as good recreational facilities, including squash courts and tennis courts, football and cricket pitches.

Exmoor's beautiful moorland offers excellent walking, while water lovers can opt for either sailing on Wimbleball Lake or surfing/swimming at nearby sandy beaches.
