Our Totnes office is currently looking for an experienced Negotiator to join its busy sales team.

The ideal candidate will have estate agency experience and will be expected to communicate well with existing buyers and sellers to build and maintain goodwill and trust. The successful candidate will undertake viewings and negotiate sales from offer through to exchange of contracts and completion.

You should be IT-literate and have the ability to work as part of a motivated team.

The role will involve working some Saturdays on a rota basis and a full driving license and use of your own car is essential. Salary details will be available upon application, commensurate with experience and skills.

Professional Services

Stags is currently seeking a Planning and Design Professional to join the existing Planning Services team based in Exeter. The right candidate will have an undergraduate or higher level qualification in a related discipline and previous experience of working in the planning and development sector.

Stags Planning Services undertakes all types of planning work for a wide range of clients including private individuals, developers, rural landowners and businesses. The team also works closely with Stags offices and other property professionals.

The role will be Exeter based but with a need to travel to clients and other Stags offices on a frequent basis.

Stags is seeking to expand its Professional Services team in Cornwall. Individual surveyors, existing businesses or teams will be considered.

The existing workload is varied and interesting and includes formal valuations for all purposes, rural planning work, estate management, landlord/tenant, compulsory purchase and compensation work, handling the Environment Agency contract work as well as Basic Payment Scheme and environmental scheme applications.

The team works closely with Stags' property offices, property professionals and property and land owning clients and we consider that there is much potential to grow both the department and individuals within.

The opportunities for progression are outstanding and remuneration will be commensurate with experience and ability. The team leader role will require an individual with at least five years' post RICS qualification; the other roles require qualified personnel.

Stags Professional Services team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Rural Surveyor with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience to provide professional advice for clients in Somerset and Dorset.

The position, which will be based in our Wellington office, offers the chance for the right person to work within a small vibrant team. There is a varied and interesting workload to include land and property valuations, rural planning and diversification, landlord and tenant, estate management, compulsory purchase and compensation and grants and BPS administration.

Farm Agency

Stags Farm Agency Department in Cornwall has a summer placement opportunity for a Property/Estate Management Student to gain hands-on experience in selling land and farms. The role also offers additional experience in our rural property department and across a range of professional disciplines including valuation and planning, dependent on the candidate’s interests and intended career path. The position will be based in our Launceston or Truro office.

Stags South Molton livestock market requires someone to wash down the market after each Thursday event. The work is usually 1.5 days per week (approx. 16 hours) on Thursday afternoons and Fridays. Pay is £8.50 per hour, and other hours may be available to the right candidate. Livestock handling experience is not required.
