Land and Development Assistant - Exeter

Stags are looking to recruit an Office Co-ordinator / Administrator to join our Development Land, Planning, and Architectural Design teams in Exeter. The role will involve providing a combination of agency, consultancy and administrative support to the team who provide a range of professional services to clients across the South West.

This position presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the department during an exciting period of growth.

The anticipated workload will be varied but will include:

  • Point of contact for clients, landlords, tenants, other professionals, contractors and suppliers, predominantly over the telephone and by email but also face to face
  • Handling some aspects of development land agency progression including property listing, brochure and details generation, preparation of site information packs, handling buyer and seller enquiries, with support from the wider development land team
  • Helping to manage Planning and Architectural Design workflow and capacity and co-ordinating workstreams to support instruction progression and achieve deadlines
  • Responding to and, where applicable, dealing with general enquiries
  • Provide general administrative support to the team
  • Management of diaries and organising meetings and events
  • Audio typing of letters, emails, reports, meeting minutes and other documents
  • Drafting and raising fee invoices using our invoicing software
  • Recording and maintaining invoice schedules and quotes spreadsheets
  • Completing background searches and due diligence research on both properties and clients
  • Drafting and arranging signature of our Terms’ of Business
  • Photocopying, filing and CRM management
  • Liaising with members of both the wider Professional Services department and firm
  • Assisting with marketing for the department
  • Organising and co-ordinating events

Requirements

The successful applicant will have a flexible ‘can do’ positive attitude, be a fast learner for in-house software systems, self-motivated and will ideally have previous experience supporting a busy team, as well as being able to use their own initiative and prioritise their workload. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and attention to detail is key.

An understanding of the development and planning sector would be advantageous but not essential, as well as experience of working in an office environment.

Residential/General Practice Surveyor – Cornwall and Devon

We are looking for an experienced Residential/General Practice Surveyor to join our successful Professional Services team based in Launceston. If you have a minimum of 2 years PQE and are looking for a full or part time role involving free form RICS Red Book Valuations and potentially Level 2 and 3 Surveys of often varied and unique property across Cornwall and Devon this role may be for you.

We are open to full or part time but anticipate a minimum of 3 days a week. The post could suit those wishing to step back from a full time role, as well as lessor experienced but competent surveyors looking for a new challenge.

The Role

  • Undertaking formal RICS Red Book valuations for residential property.
  • Carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys across a range of property types.

The Role

Lettings Property Manager - Honiton

We are looking for a Property Manager to join our busy lettings team in Honiton.

The Role

We are looking for a Residential Lettings Property Manager to join our busy Exeter lettings team covering the city centre and surrounding areas.

This role would suit someone with experience who is also keen to learn and progress while working as part of team. You will have the opportunity to deal with a diverse range of property. The ideal candidate would be well-organised, computer-literate and the enthusiasm to learn.

The Role

  • Liaising with landlords and tenants.
  • Undertaking property inspections.
  • Dealing with elements of repairs maintenance as well as check in and checkout inspections.

We are looking for an Lettings Negotiator to join our South Devon Lettings team to be based in Totnes.

The Role

This full time role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of team in a busy environment. You will have the opportunity to deal with a diverse range of property with the ideal candidate having some experience, proactive, well-organised, computer-literate and able to work on their own initiative.

As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be involved in the day to day letting processes, from conducting property viewings and negotiating terms to preparing tenancy agreements. In addition, you will be dealing with day to day landlord and tenant enquires. Your aim is to ensure smooth and efficient transactions, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction for both landlords and tenants.

Project Manager - Website (Fixed Term Contract – Website Redevelopment Project)

We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Manager to support the delivery of a major website redevelopment project across Stags.

This role is ideally suited to an individual who enjoys managing multiple workstreams, building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Working closely with our Marketing Department, external website development partner and colleagues across the business, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating the development, testing and launch of our new website.

Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, the successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination throughout the project, helping to keep activities on track, stakeholders informed and project objectives achieved.

The ideal candidate is likely to have experience in project coordination, digital marketing, website administration or a similar role. They will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

The Role

  • Coordinating the day-to-day delivery of Stags' website redevelopment project.
  • Acting as a key point of contact between internal teams and the appointed website development partner.
  • Organising project meetings, maintaining action logs and monitoring progress against agreed milestones.
  • Gathering requirements and feedback from departments across the business.
  • Coordinating website content preparation, migration and review activities.
  • Supporting website testing, quality assurance and issue resolution
  • Assisting with user training, launch planning and post-launch support activities.
  • Producing regular project updates and reports for stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to coordinate multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and capable of working independently.
  • Experienced in project coordination, administration or digital project delivery.
