Property Sales

Our busy Exeter Office is looking for a self-motivated, experienced negotiator to join our successful team.

As a good all-round estate agent, you will be a highly driven team player with an eye for matching buyers to properties. Suitable candidates will have a good knowledge of sales progression and negotiation, along with good administration skills.  Ideally the candidate would have a minimum of 5 years’ agency experience. This is a full-time position.

Our newly re located Plymouth Office is looking for a self -motivated, experienced negotiator to join our growing team.
 
As a good all-round estate agent, you will be a team player and thrive on success with a nose for matching buyers to properties. You will have a good knowledge of sales progression and closing a deal, along with good administration skills.  
Covering an area from Wembury in the South Hams to Polruan in the South East of Cornwall we deal with a wide variety of properties. Ideally you will have some local knowledge.

This role is part-time with potential to be full-time and involves liaising, mainly using the telephone, with our future clients. Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills are required. The job will initially be based in Totnes, but will then move to Plymouth. This challenging and varied role will involve all aspects of residential letting to include handling the telephone, dealing with face-to-face tenant and landlord enquiries, property inspections, coordination of property maintenance as well as compiling inventories. Experience would be preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, computer-literate, able to work on their own initiative and quick to learn. Part time/flexible hours considered. Candidate's own car is essential.

Rural Services

Our Estate Management team are looking for a secretary/estate administrator to join their established team of surveyors, client accountants and support staff working from the Totnes Office.

The purpose for this role is predominantly to provide secretarial and administration support to our team of surveying staff across both the portfolios of let properties we manage and also with ad-hoc professional report writing we undertake. The role can therefore be moulded to suit either someone with secretarial or property administration skills depending on applications received, or a mixture of both. Applications for either a full time or part time position considered, subject to a 20-hour working week as a minimum.

Our Agricultural Sales department are recruiting a new team member to co-ordinate the online and onsite sales side of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy team assisting to grow the firm’s online auctions and the sales at their permanent sales centre, The West Country Sales Centre. We are seeking a strong communicator who is hands on and able to deal directly with clients and has some experience with farm and plant machinery. The position is full time, it is varied and will involve working in other parts of our business including the livestock markets.

An agricultural background and an understanding of auctions are desirable with a full UK driving license being a necessity, as well as good IT knowledge.
