Professional Services department strengthened by appointment of Miles Webber

Miles Webber MRICS FAAV has been appointed Associate Partner and Head of Estate Management and Professional Services in Michelmore Hughes Stags and Stags’ office in Totnes.

Based with the Michelmore Hughes Stags team in Totnes, Miles will be providing estate management and professional services for new and existing clients. Bringing a wealth of experience to his new role and benefitting the ongoing management of a number of retained large south west estates, Miles can also provide valuations for a range of purposes, advice on compulsory purchase compensation, planning applications, agri-environment and agri-business schemes.

Having grown up in rural Somerset, Miles graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams University before joining Savills in 2011. Following a year in Oxford working in farm and country house agency, Miles returned to his West Country roots and relocated to Savills’ Exeter office, from which he looked after four large Devon estates extending to some 12,000 acres. During this time, as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Miles further qualified as a RICS Registered Valuer and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Furthermore, Miles is among the few land agents to become an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which assists him when liaising with other professionals while offering his clients informed advice on matters such as succession and tax planning.

On joining the team in Totnes, Miles says that he is “looking forward to meeting and working with existing clients and staff to grow the department across the South Hams, Devon and throughout the Stags network.”
