A client in West Devon has shared the results of some recent grant work with us. These photos show the before and after of rebuilding an earth bank with funding under the popular Hedgerow and Boundary Grant scheme, administered by the Rural Payments Agency.
The grant paid £7 per metre for rebuilding the bank in the local style and has helped this local farm reinstate their boundaries and provide shelter for livestock, making a real difference to the local landscape.
Stags Professional Services team helped by applying for the grant and submitting the claim on completion.
Up to £10,000 can be applied for by each farming business; this work was the second time this farm has had success under the scheme.
