A successful Spring APC training day for Stags Graduates

A successful Spring APC training day for Stags Graduates

On the 31st March our Spring APC training day was held in our Exeter office, with Graduates from across the firm meeting as part of the Stags APC training programme. The APC (assessment of professional competence) training programme is the training scheme that graduates need to complete on the job to qualify as a chartered surveyor.

The day included a mix of technical topics, including Class R and Class Q permitted development rights, marketing farms and land for sale, residential tenancy agreements and compliance, alongside work on Ethics, advice on the written submission and one-to-one meetings with our in-house APC Assessor, Matthew Wilcox. The day finished with well-earnt drinks at a nearby pub.

Thanks must go to Alister Smith, Andrew Dodds and Jenny Stewart for providing such informative talks, with all of the Graduates commenting on how useful the day was and how nice it was to get together as a group.

As part of the APC training programme, Stags host two APC training days a year for all of their Graduates. As well as providing CPD (continuing professional development) and structured training, these days also give them an opportunity to meet up with other Graduates across the firm.

We currently have positions available for Apprentices, Graduates and Qualified Surveyors, so, if you would be interested in joining Stags, please contact Matthew Wilcox on 01884 235701 or m.wilcox@stags.co.uk
