Rural Surveyor - Taunton

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding professional team based in Somerset but serving clients across the West Country.

Requirements

Farm Agent/Rural Surveyor - Cornwall

Professional Services Co-ordinator / Administrator

Stags are looking to recruit an Office Co-ordinator / Administrator to join our Development Land, Planning, and Architectural Design teams in Exeter. The role will involve providing a combination of agency, consultancy and administrative support to the team who provide a range of professional services to clients across the South West.

This position presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the department during an exciting period of growth.

The anticipated workload will be varied but will include:

  • Point of contact for clients, landlords, tenants, other professionals, contractors and suppliers, predominantly over the telephone and by email but also face to face
  • Handling some aspects of development land agency progression including property listing, brochure and details generation, preparation of site information packs, handling buyer and seller enquiries, with support from the wider development land team
  • Helping to manage Planning and Architectural Design workflow and capacity and co-ordinating workstreams to support instruction progression and achieve deadlines
  • Responding to and, where applicable, dealing with general enquiries
  • Provide general administrative support to the team
  • Management of diaries and organising meetings and events
  • Audio typing of letters, emails, reports, meeting minutes and other documents
  • Drafting and raising fee invoices using our invoicing software
  • Recording and maintaining invoice schedules and quotes spreadsheets
  • Completing background searches and due diligence research on both properties and clients
  • Drafting and arranging signature of our Terms’ of Business
  • Photocopying, filing and CRM management
  • Liaising with members of both the wider Professional Services department and firm
  • Assisting with marketing for the department
  • Organising and co-ordinating events

Requirements

The successful applicant will have a flexible ‘can do’ positive attitude, be a fast learner for in-house software systems, self-motivated and will ideally have previous experience supporting a busy team, as well as being able to use their own initiative and prioritise their workload. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and attention to detail is key.

An understanding of the development and planning sector would be advantageous but not essential, as well as experience of working in an office environment.

The skills and characteristics we are looking for include:

Residential Sales Negotiator - Kingsbridge

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Negotiator to join our Residential Sales team in Kingsbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with a strong understanding of the property market and a commitment to delivering a first-class client experience.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing property sales from instruction through to completion. You will build strong relationships with clients, conduct viewings, negotiate offers, and help ensure a smooth and professional sales process, maintaining the highest standards of service for both buyers and vendors.

Key responsibilities:

Sales Negotiator - Torquay

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become an important part of our friendly team, with a reputation for excellent service.

Our Torquay Office requires a Full Time Negotiator to join their busy sales team. Estate Agency or sales experience is preferred but not essential for this role and would be suited to an individual with an ambition to grow and receive training in the property industry.

Lettings Negotiator/Property Manager - Kingsbridge (South Devon Lettings)

We are looking for a Lettings Property Manager/Negotiator to join our busy South Devon lettings team working in Kingsbridge and Totnes.

The Role

This full-time role would suit someone with experience who is also keen to learn and progress while working as part of team. You will have the opportunity to deal with a diverse range of property with the ideal candidate well-organised, computer-literate and the enthusiasm to learn.

As a Lettings Property Manager/Negotiator, you will be involved in all aspects of property management, liaising with landlords and tenants, undertaking property inspections, dealing with elements of repairs and maintenance as well as check in and checkout inspections. In addition, you will have the opportunity to carry out some viewings. Your aim will involve working as part of the team ensuring smooth and efficient transactions, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction for both landlords and tenants.

Central Lettings Co-ordinator

This role is based in Wellington/ Tiverton/ Honiton plus other letting office locations as and when required.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our central lettings support team working in a varied role to develop and assist in the growth of the lettings department. This would ideally suit someone working in an existing lettings role and looking for a change.

This full time role would ideally suit someone who has the drive and determination as well as passion and enthusiasm to achieve common goals within a successful and supportive team environment.

  • Working directly with the Head of Lettings to implement business objectives, processes and procedures
  • You will be involved in all aspects of the day to day letting of property, as required
  • Input into ongoing training and staff development
  • Providing support to the wider lettings team across all locations both remotely and in person, as required
  • Involvement working with the marketing team to aid the promotion of the department
  • Support with a variety of administrative tasks

Some Saturday working will be required on a rota basis.

Auctions Administrator - South Molton

Are you looking for a new opportunity with a long-established company based in the South West? We are looking for an Auctions Administrator in our growing Online and Onsite Sales department based in South Molton.

The Job

We are seeking an Auctions Administrator to assist in running the firm’s Online and Onsite Sales. The department runs a wide range of Online Timed Auctions that include agricultural machinery and implements, workshop and woodworking equipment, vintage and antique bygones, garden and nursery stock and equipment, builders equipment and associated equipment sales through Online Timed Auctions with items entered from across the whole of the South West. Stags Auctions department also runs Onsite Sales, as well as three livestock markets being South Molton, Honiton and Tavistock. The position is office based in our South Molton office.

Responsibilities

  • Putting online sale lots onto the system, invoicing, taking payments and organising purchased item collections
  • Use of sales and invoicing software, training will be given
  • Communication between office, clients and purchasers throughout live sales
  • Updating the departments website pages
  • Updating customer databases
  • General office administration including answering incoming calls

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced reactive environment
  • An agricultural background and an understanding of auctions is preferred
  • Able to deal directly and professionally with customers
  • Team player and trustworthy
  • Organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of IT especially Word and Excel
