Wonderfully situated residential farm sells in Dartmoor

Stags Farm Agency department is pleased to announce the successful sale of Sanduck Cross farm, near Lustleigh, Newton Abbot, Devon.

In all, Sanduck Cross Farm extends to 78 acres with a modern farmhouse and a range of farm buildings. The farm is surrounded by its own land which comprises good sized fields of grassland and with pockets of woodland providing amenity and conservation appeal.

Situated close to the popular villages of Lustleigh and North Bovey, Sanduck Cross Farm came to the market this year on 1 June. The farm quickly drew interest from buyers throughout the country looking to relocate to the South West, drawn to its private yet accessible location on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. The viewers ranged from new entrants to farming, existing farmers looking to downsize and farm buyers in the locality looking for additional farm units. After 18 viewings by different parties, a sale was agreed to a buyer from southern England and they will be moving in to enjoy Christmas on their new farm.

George Alder, Partner and Head of Stags Farm Agency Department comments that “Sanduck Cross Farm drew substantial interest due to its location and being a very tidy and up together farming unit ready for someone to move in and farm straightaway.

It is within easy reach of two popular villages, as well as having good links to Dartmoor and access to amenities in Bovey Tracey including Mole Valley Farmers. The farm also has access the A38, which links to Plymouth in the south and Exeter and the M5 to the north.”

We wish the new owners all the best and hope they enjoy Christmas on their new farm.
