A packed sale centre saw customers, from far and wide attend the West Country Sales Centre near Cullompton on Saturday 9 February. Stags' On Site Sales team runs a growing permanent sales centre on the outskirts of the town, with vehicles, machinery, plant and general equipment sales taking place regularly.
Saturday’s sale was topped at £5,000 for a Case IH 895 Stockman, which now makes its way to its new home in Chard. A high capacity vacuum tanker went for £1,650, while a Leyland 262 2WD c/w Quicke Loader (seized engine) was sold for £1,250. A Lely Optimo 280C Mower Conditioner went for £875 while Cambridge Gang Rollers went under the hammer at £300. IAE Head Stock sold for £280 with Tombstone Ring Feeders from the same vendor achieving £200 a piece. Second-hand power tools and workshop equipment sold well with the best welders and drills between £50 and £220. In total, over 620 lots were offered for sale with a huge variety of items ranging from tractors and vehicles to furniture, power tools and general equipment.
Items can be delivered to the secure sale site well in advance of the sales, which is conveniently located just one mile from the M5 junction 28 and three miles from M5 junction 27, enabling efficient delivery and collection of items.
