A sale conducted entirely by the Stags Auction Team, with services including full sale preparation, a facilitated viewing day, and ongoing post-sale assistance for buyers across multiple collection days. The event delivered some exceptional results for both collectable tractors and genuine farm machinery.
A standout highlight was the 1992 Massey Ferguson 3065 4WD tractor, showing 7865.5 hours, which achieved a monstrous price of £30,750. Strong competition came from collectors keen to add this rare specimen to their portfolios, and pleasingly the tractor remained local.
Another highly sought-after lot was the 1993 Massey Ferguson 362 2WD tractor, showing 4396.7 hours, which soared to £18,000, with determined bidding from across the UK and Ireland. Amongst the machinery highlights was a 2007 Lely Splendimo 240 MC mower conditioner, which sold extremely well at a strong £4,950.
In summary, this was a sale that exceeded both our own and the vendors’ expectations, with the outstanding results driven by the genuine nature of the offering, the provenance of the items, and the bespoke marketing strategy that attracted bidders from far and wide.
