AUCTIONEERS COMMENT

"A pleasing return to the field saw one of our longest-running collective auctions attract an entry of just over 400 lots. While the overall quality was not quite as strong as in some previous years, there was certainly no shortage of variety, with lots ranging from woodworking machinery, domestic and general equipment through to diggers and a skid steer loader.

A good attendance, relative to the number of lots entered, ensured spirited bidding throughout the day, particularly for the smaller tools and items of equipment. Leading prices included an Ifor Williams LM105G Flatbed Trailer at £2,860, a 1996 John Deere 570 Baler at £1,760, a 2006 Marshall 85 FYM Spreader at £1,540, a 2015 Lely Lotus Stabilo 8-Star Tedder at £1,320, and a Cattle Handling Ring/Yard at £1,100.

Among the smaller lots, a scaffold tower proved exceptionally popular, racing away to £209 following strong competition from several bidders.
