The annual Spring Collective Sale of Agricultural, Horticultural, Builders and Household Equipment always brings in a large crowd of people and this year with the warmer weather in the school holidays was no different.
Just under 1000 lots were forward which were lacking some bigger items but no shortage of the tools and smaller lots.
There was something present for everyone and the day’s top price was £5,000 for a Kubota 281SV Mini Excavator. Topping the Farm Machinery prices was £2,000 for a Fella TS456DN Single Rota Rake followed by £1,600 for a Claas Volto 640H 6 Star Tedder and £750 for a Twose Roller.
The vehicles included £1,550 for a 2013 Ausa Support RTV and £1,350 for a 2002 Landrover TD5 Discovery. As usual there were a number of trailers on offer with prices including £1,100 for a Bateson Livestock Trailer and £775 for a Hydraulic Tipping Trailer.
Smaller lots saw prices top at £1,150 for a 2010 Greenmech CS100 Wood Chipper with other prices including £520 for a Husqvarna CRT51 Rotavator; £480 for 2 Good Year Tractor Wheels/Tyres; £440 for a Chipper 52 Ride on Lawnmower; £440 for a EFCO EF 72C/12.5H Ride on Lawnmower; £250 for a Wrought Iron Gate and £220 for a Karcher Professional Pressure Washer.
