A Tractor & Loader is available to assist with unloading sale items and loading sale items on Friday and Sale Day.
From Tavistock, take the A390 signposted Gulworthy, and continue on this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the right turn on the B3362 signposted Lamerton, continue approximately ¾ mile, and the sale field is just behind The Copper Penny Inn on the left-hand side. ‘To the Sale Signs’ will be posted locally on the sale day.
The sale field will be open on Friday 29th May from 9.00am to 5pm. NO ONLINE LOTS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER 12 NOON ON FRIDAY 29TH MAY. All vendors are required to fill in an Entry Form at the sale field if they have not already done so.
On Friday 29th May from 12 noon to 5.00pm and on the morning of the sale from 9am to 10am. Please note that entries will be arriving up to the start of the sale, so they may not be at the site on the day before the sale.
Please note that a number of the entries received are subject to VAT at 20%. Details of each lot's VAT will be announced at the time of sale.
Marcia Vanstone Mobile Catering will be in attendance.
All lots remain at the risk of the purchaser from the fall of the hammer and must be removed by (TBC) 5.00pm Monday 1st June 2026
ONSITE BIDDERS: 10% Buyers Premium charged on all lots purchased onsite to a maximum of £250 per lot + VAT (£300).
ONLINE BIDDERS: 12.5% Buyers Premium charged on all lots purchased online to a maximum of £500 per lot + VAT (£600).
We are able to accept debit cards as well as cash or cheque.
Prospective purchasers not known to the auctioneers should contact the auctioneers before the sale and give banking details and references on 01769 572042.
Please ensure that you register on the morning of the sale at the sales office and obtain a bidding number.
Online bidders will be manually approved by Stags staff to bid in the auction. Prospective purchasers not known to Stags Auctions, from overseas or other areas nationally, should contact the office on 01769 572042 or [email protected] to provide references and fully verify their account. Please ensure you register to bid in good time, at least 24 hours before; registering to bid at the last minute could result in no approval. A member of Stags Auctions team may contact you using the telephone numbers provided on your account to verify you. Those that do not provide references, or we are unable to gain contact in time, may not receive approval to bid and risk having their account suspended at the auctioneer’s discretion when participating in our auctions.
