The Stags permanent West Country Sales Centre site at Willand, Cullompton continues to grow and attract a wide range of entries. The June sale was back to a Saturday due to a large entry of smaller household items that attracted a good size crowd. The sale kicked off inside the shed which was mostly filled with a 5 bedroom house clearance from a property in Hemyock. It was a sweltering hot day and concluded with the larger machinery. Overall a total of 757 lots were sold from the 789 entered. Top price of the day was £18,500 for the 2005 Massey Ferguson 6455 Tractor c/w MXU310 Loader which was part of the dispersal on behalf of Mr P Batten of Culmstock. Mr Batten also achieved £2000 for a 22ft Bale Trailer; £1600 for his Albutt Timber Grab; £550 for the PTO Log Splitter and £400 for a Stone Bucket.
Other notable prices included £8000 for a Kobelco Mark III SK100 10 Tonne Swing Shovel and £2600 for a Reco Ferri TME 60 Compact Hedgetrimmer. The house clearance prices included £80 for a Bosch Freezer; £58 for a Sony TV and £50 for a large mirror.
