Viewing of items can be made by arrangement with the Vendor during the 9 days of the auction running. If you would like to view any items listed, please contact the office for the vendor's contact details.
Dispersal lots may indicate alternative or specific viewing arrangements within the lot description. It is advisable to check each lot's description for this information or enquire with the team.
Payment of any invoice is due on the day of issue; interest is payable on any outstanding sum at 8% until the overdue sum is paid.
Prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves before making bids as to the condition of any lot and should rely on their own judgement and not the auctioneer's or vendor's description. All lots in this sale are sold as untested and the auctioneers have little knowledge of their history or working condition.
Purchasers are advised to make collection of items within 2 weeks of the close of the sale. Vendors are paid out within 2/3 weeks of the close of the sale, and therefore it is in the purchaser's own interest to collect promptly. In all cases, collection must be made within 4 weeks of the auction's conclusion, unless other terms are stipulated at the time of sale or prior arrangements have been made with the auctioneer. Purchasers risk forfeiting an item if not collected after this time period, regardless of whether the item has been paid for in part or in full. Where vendors request items to be removed after this period, or sooner than the end of this time period, purchasers will be given a 2-week written notice, either by email, post or both, by the auctioneers and then have to make collection or forfeit the item and lose any right to collect or claim it.
All vendors and purchasers must adhere to the strict APHA guidelines when selling, purchasing and collecting poultry. We do not accept entries from vendors in protection, surveillance, restricted or control zones.
