VIEWING

Viewing of Lots can be made by arrangement with the Vendor during the 9 days of the auction running. If you would like to view any Lots listed, please contact the office for the vendor's contact details.

PAYMENT

Payment of any invoice is due on the day of issue; interest is payable on any outstanding sum at 8% until the overdue sum is paid.

DESCRIPTION OF LOTS

Prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves before making bids as to the condition of any lot and should rely on their own judgement and not the auctioneer's or vendor's description.

COLLECTION

The majority of lots have a collection deadline in the lot description. If you do not collect before this time, you risk forfeiting the lots purchased, but you will still be liable for any invoices raised.  Unless stated otherwise, the auctioneers strongly advise that all lots are collected as soon as practically possible after the sale, and unless prior arrangements are made with the vendor, all lots must be collected within 2 weeks of the sale closing.

CLEARANCE TERMS

Purchasers are advised to collect items within 2 weeks of the close of the sale. Vendors are paid out within 2/3 weeks of the close of the sale, and therefore it is in the purchaser's own interest to collect promptly. In all cases, collection must be made within 2 weeks of the auction's conclusion, unless other terms are stipulated at the time of sale or prior arrangements have been made with the auctioneer. Purchasers risk forfeiting any Lots if not collected after this time period, regardless of whether the item has been paid for in part or in full.

BUYER'S PREMIUM AND SURCHARGES

  • No buyer's premium is charged on Livestock
  • 10% + VAT Buyers' Premium on Poultry
  • 1% + VAT Admin Fee on Fodder
