Stags Waterside Department Contribute to Supporting South West Coastlines

This September, Stags' Waterside teams took part in a series of beach cleans at South Milton Sands, East Beach West Bay, Watergate Bay, and Instow.​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​At Stags, our Waterside teams work in some of the most beautiful coastal locations across the South West. From estuaries and harbours to beaches and waterfront communities, these environments are integral to the character, heritage, and lifestyle of the West Country. They help define the region's appeal, attracting buyers while providing valued spaces for local communities. Preserving them is essential to safeguarding the qualities that make the South West such a special place to live, work, and visit. As a business deeply rooted in the region, supporting their long-term care is a responsibility that reflects the values and commitment at the heart of Stags.​​​​​​​

This commitment is reflected in our annual beach clean, which brings colleagues together from across the business to help care for the coastlines that play such an important role in the communities and landscapes we serve.

Luke Miller, Associate Partner and Totnes Office Manager, commented: 

“It was brilliant to see so many people from across Stags getting involved again this year. September is a great time to ​​​​​​​carry out the cleans, just after the busy holiday​​​​​​​ season when our beaches have seen some of their highest visitor numbers.​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​This is now the third year we have organised them and they have very much become an annual event in the Stags calendar. We are fortunate to work in some of the most ​​​​​​​beautiful parts of the South West, so it feels important to give​​​​​​​ something back and do something practical to help look after them.​​​​​​​

Having four cleans taking place across the region made it feel like a real Stags-wide effort, and the response from the teams was fantastic.
