Stags Raise £6,513.78 for South West Mind Charities
Stags raised £6,513.78 for Mind charities across the South West following the success of an online charity auction and other fundraising events, bringing together local businesses, clients, and community supporters to fund vital mental health services.
The “Bid for Mind: Stags Charity Auction”, was hosted on Stags’ own online auction platform, allowing supporters to easily browse, register and place bids from anywhere. The five-day digital event auctioned a wide range of experiences, hospitality packages, and vouchers generously donated by Stags staff and local businesses and people. From sporting event tickets and countryside stays to cookery courses and family days out, bidders competed to secure auction lots while supporting Devon Mind, Dorset Mind, Cornwall Mind and Mind in Somerset.
In addition to the online auction, the total was raised through a series of in-person community fundraising initiatives organised by Stags, including charity bake sales, quiz nights, and a rounders event.
Funds raised will support South West Mind charities' work providing mental health information, advice, and local services including peer support, safe spaces and community programmes, as well as campaigning to improve understanding and access to care across the region.
The campaign forms part of Stags’ ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
