Stags Planning Department Receive Consent for Eco-Friendly Holiday Home

Stags Planning Department are delighted to announce that they have received planning consent for a new eco-friendly holiday home just outside Dartmoor National Park.

The design of the building is sympathetic to the natural landscape; it will be built into the ground and will use environmentally-friendly materials and building systems to create a property with a low emission production.

The building exterior will be constructed using locally-sourced granite and insulated with sheep wool. The building structure will be made from timber from nearby sawmills. There will also be a homegrown green roof using native grasses. The building systems used will include an Air-to-Air heat pump and solar panel, which are renewable alternatives.

New Software

Stags Planning Department can also assist with the Design aspect. This video shows the exterior and interior of the holiday home, created by a new software we have here at Stags.

We are able to produce both videos and still images of your proposal or existing buildings by using this software to draw in 3D.
