Partners at the West Country’s leading estate agency Stags have announced that they have added to their ranks, with the appointment of George Alder as full equity partner from 1 January 2017.
An extremely popular member of the Stags family, George has worked for the firm for four years, most recently heading up the company’s successful Farm Agency department. During his time with Stags, George’s unstinting passion for selling farms and land across the South West has not gone unnoticed. His positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile has proved a winning combination, and under his leadership the department has gone on to claim a 50% share of the farms and land market in Devon.
Hailing originally from the Thames Valley, George headed to the South West in 1996 after securing a place at Seale Hayne Agricultural College, before qualifying as an RICS Rural Chartered Surveyor and Fellow of the Agricultural Association of Valuers (FAAV) in 2002. Since then he has worked exclusively in the West Country, originally training with Rendells, then Symonds and Sampson in Dorset, before moving to Savills in Exeter, and Stags in 2013.
