Stags New Homes going from strength to strength

Stags New Homes going from strength to strength Like most sectors of the property market, New Homes have also continued to sell well over the Summer this year. The stamp duty savings on completions prior to the end of March 2021 are certainly adding to this surge of interest for all of our developments over the West Country.

Some enterprising developers in South Devon have provided specific discounts for key workers.  The developer, known as ‘Leading Homes’ have allowed £500 off every £25,000 spent on their Rainbow View development in Totnes.

To be able to use their Key Worker Package, you must:
•    Be employed by one of the government bodies listed at the time of buying your new home and be able to provide 3 months’ worth of pay slips that clearly state that you work in one of these services. This is available to workers from the NHS, Police, Education, Fire Services, MOD, Environmental Health, Highways/Traffic, Prison, Probation, and from Local Authorities. In addition to the public sector professions eligible for the scheme, they are extending our key worker scheme to include ALL those professionals who are classed as key workers under the Covid-19 outbreak, plus those who have offered their services as an NHS volunteer during this challenging time.

In a recent agreed sale, we have just given £8,500 worth of discounts on a new flat to an NHS worker.  Ian Walmsley, Managing Director of developers Leading Homes, said ‘We are only too pleased to give a discount to key workers in the NHS, Police, Education, Fire and other such bodies at this time. They work so hard day in day out and we are very happy to give back to the local community in this way.’
