Stephen is a very experienced Chartered Surveyor who has been practicing in the West Country for almost 40 years. The appointment of Stephen brings a wealth of commercial property experience and knowledge to Stags.
Stephen will be based in the Michelmore Hughes Stags commercial property and management office in Totnes, where he joins a well-established team who provide commercial management and property services to a large number of established clients managing nationwide portfolios as well as single commercial investment assets. His appointment increases the commercial property services Stags is able to offer both existing clients and new clients.
Stephen has worked in the property sector all his working life, in private practice as well as a time within the government’s Valuation Office Agency. For the 18 years prior to joining Stags, he was a director within a multi-award-winning Commercial Property Agency, dealing with a wide range of commercial properties throughout the West Country.
A qualified Chartered Surveyor and RICS registered Valuer, Stephen and his team can provide Full Commercial and Block Management Services. If clients do not need full management services, then Stephen and his team can provide a wide range of commercial property services, including Professional Valuations, Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals, Agency selling or letting, Rating advice and appeals and dispute resolution.
Out of the office, Stephen has run a number of marathons and ultra-marathons, although now says age, food and worn-out joints slow him down. In 2021, he cycled from John O Groats to Land’s End, having cycled the other way in 2017. He is an active supporter of a number of local charities as fund raiser and helping where can.
