Stags Farm Agency collaborate with our knowledgeable Auction Department to achieve the best results, with both teams pooling their resources and working seamlessly to provide a unique and effective service in the West Country. Selling property and land online is a popular method of sale, proving to have high success rates, often exceeding guide prices. Online sales create a competitive bidding environment, while still remaining accessible to allow potential buyers to bid anywhere, at any time.
June and July saw high auction success, a productive start to the summer. Stags are pleased to announce their recent successes with the following online auctions:
The highlight was Westacott Farm near Honeychurch, a Georgian style Grade-II listed farmhouse with traditional barns and 69.22 acres. Set in an extremely private, peaceful location, on the north east edge of Exbourne, with attractive views towards Dartmoor National Park.

After an impressive 31 viewings at a time when there was extreme market apathy around the General Election, the farm sold in excess of the top end of its guide range of £900,000 to £1.1million.
Following on from this, 10 acres at Rosenannan, Wadebridge sold in 2 lots, that achieved 27% over the top end of the guide ranges. We had a strong level of interest from far and wide, including interest from Essex.

Just under a fortnight ago, Stags offered 4 land lots near Callington and Crackington Haven in Cornwall. All 4 of these sold and 2 exceeded the top end of their guide range by 15%, whilst the other 2 made 30% more.

Stags have a wealth of experience across the South West and are invested in the education of the auction process and the benefits that can gained. This is an excellent example of how beneficial sending a property to auction can be, when handled by a professional team.
