The Stags On Site Sales team headed into West Devon for a double header of Friday and Saturday sales.
The first on Friday 12th April was at Overlake Farm, Northlew, Okehampton where a good range of Farm Machinery and Effects were sold on behalf of Messrs R C & M A Cockayne who had sold the farm.
It was another warm April day and another decent crowd gathered to see the 2004 Valtra A95 4WD Tractor top the day’s prices at £9,000. This was followed at £8,250 for the 1993 JCB 525-58 Loadall Telehandler.
Other prices of note was £2,650 for a 2013 Suzuki LFT 400 Quad Bike; £2,100 for a Keenan Klassick 100 Mixer Wagon; £1,400 for a 2009 Lucas G Raptor Mounted Straw Chopper; and £1,200 for an Ifor Williams DP120G 12’ Livestock Trailer.
In total there were nearly 400 lots including many smaller lots and a large range of Modulamb Sheep Handling Equipment. Prices of note were IAE Super Comfort Cow Cubicles (sold in situ) to £18 per cubicle; £125 for the Modulamb Shedding Gate and £120 for the Modulamb Forcing Pen Gate.
A small line up of outside entries saw prices top at £850 for a TM125 Motor Bike, with other prices including £800 for a Teagle Offset Topper 8 and £500 for a Lely Mower/Conditioner.
