New planning opportunities in South Somerset
Mon 12 November 2018
According to Stags Head of Planning Alister Smith, new planning opportunities are available in South Somerset.
Did you know there is currently a shortage of land for housing developments in the South Somerset District Council area?
If you own land in or on the edge of a village or town with two or more services (such as a pub and church) then you could find that your land may be deemed suitable for development.
What is more, the council is also considering introducing significant longer-term changes to planning policies on housing in the rural settlements, on the grounds that these make a vital contribution to housing delivery in the district. These proposed changes will also create new planning opportunities in the area for residential development.
Here at Stags, we believe that now is the time for land and property owners to act if they wish to benefit from this situation.
