Following a run of successful fodder auctions in Exeter last Winter, Stags will be organising further new sales in South Molton and Honiton beginning January 2017. The first Honiton sale will be held on Wednesday 11 January covering mostly East Devon, while the inaugural South Molton sale will be held in the Sheep Market in the afternoon of Thursday 12 January, giving farmers the opportunity to purchase winter feed from North and Mid Devon.
It is anticipated that these two sales will offer vendor’s the best opportunity to sell fodder locally, which should lead to better prices while purchasers will be able to reduce haulage costs. Vendor’s entry forms will be available from the Stags website or by post.
