We are in now in lockdown for the second time this year, but what does it mean if you are looking to move house?
We have all been here before, and we are still here to help. Whether you are looking to sell or let your property we can help get you moving safely.
The Government have released notes which outline when you are able to leave your home in connection with the purchase, sale, letting or rental of a property:
(i) visiting estate or letting agents, developer sales offices or show homes;
(ii) viewing residential properties to look for a property to buy or to rent;
(iii) preparing a residential property to move in;
(iv) moving house;
(v) visiting a residential property to undertake any activities required for the rental or sale of that property.
For many, moving home is a stressful time, now more than ever expert advice and experience counts. Our teams are here to help, as per the guidance our offices remain open (although visits are by appointment only) and our staff are working hard dealing with the high level of incoming enquiries.
With the Stamp Duty holiday coming to end in the Spring the demand to move remains high. Both buyers and sellers are looking to take advantage of the opportunity, which is in place for property sales completing on or before 31st March 2021.
We will continue to carry out property viewings and market appraisals, following the strict safety guidelines and ask that all parties play their part in keeping the property market moving.
Looking to move…get in touch.
