Last chance to apply for Round 2 of the Small Grant Scheme
Hurry, time is running out for Round 2 of the Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme.
The scheme offers farmers the opportunity to obtain funding for over 80 items of equipment with the aim of improving the productivity of farming businesses.
How much funding is available?
The scheme offers 40% funding for a range of equipment purchases subject to a minimum grant value of £3,000, and a maximum of £12,000. Applicants in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly may be eligible to receive 50% funding.
Which items are eligible?
The scheme offers a ‘standard cost’ for more than 80 items, including:
• Livestock handling systems
• Feeding equipment
• Calving and lambing equipment
• EID systems
• Precision farming equipment
• Slurry systems
Can I apply for Round 2 even if I applied in Round 1?
Yes! Applicants who applied during Round 1 can submit a new application to receive funding in Round 2, provided the total value of both applications does not exceed £12,000.
How long do I have to apply?
Not long at all; the application deadline is midday on Tuesday 3 September 2019.
