Stags auctioneers report another large entry at their Spring Collective Sale at Honiton Showground. A grand total of 1243 lots were forward with a near 90% clearance rate due to a decent crowd of salegoers. There was a large entry of smaller items but not so much farm machinery owing to a number of farm sales in the area over the past month.
Top price of the day at £5,200 for a 2011 Mitsubushi L200 Warrior Pick Up. The line-up of farm machinery topped at £1,600 for an Ifor Williams DP120 Livestock Trailer with the same money to a Claas Liner 780 Twin Rotor Rake. £1,200 realised twice also; the first to a Teagle Titan Trailer and the second to a Marshall 70 FYM Spreader.
In the smaller lots prices were topped at £900 for a lovely rectangular granite trough. The new tools section topped at £130 for a Husqvarna Petrol Chainsaw and an excellent line up of Trees and Shrubs met plenty of interest and topped at £40 for a Prunus ‘Tai Haku’ Tree.
