Saturday 23rd March 2024 saw the East Devon Spring Collective sale commence at Honiton Showground, Stockers Farm, Gittisham, Honiton, EX14 3AW. This was the first of two collective sales for Stags at this site for the year. A total of 45 vendors brought their items to the showground with almost 800 items being booked in for our auctioneers to sell.
The sale commenced at 10am with the smaller items available to bidders onsite, along with a second sale starting at 1pm where live online bidding and onsite bidding was available. The catalogue saw just shy of 30,000 views with 133 registered online bidders. A total of 88 bidders were successful and came from across the South West. This sale included a small dispersal sale on behalf of Mrs P Mitchell of Axminster where members of the team collected the items and delivered them to site on her behalf. This dispersal included a BMC 9/16 Mini 2WD Tractor which achieved a positive figure of £1700 along with a 1964 Honda 90cc Motorbike which saw £900.
