"A highly successful sale with a good entry of 750 Lots and a very pleasing buyer attendance, helped no doubt by the pleasant weather. Strong prices seen for both the small and large lots on offer, with the top being a lovely example of an International 674 2WD Tractor, having only clocked 3840 hours, racing away to £6,850 to an International fanatic based in Somerset. Next in line saw a Suzuki Kingquad 750 AXI sell for £6,750, with the high-spec bike possibly being good value for the purchaser. A low-mileage Land Rover Defender 300 TDI arrived late but still sold for £6,500, albeit needing significant restoration. Other highlights included an Ifor Williams 12' x 7' Livestock Trailer achieving £3,750 along with an Atkinsons 700 Lime spreader, which, although hadn't been in recent use, far surpassed vendors' expectations when selling for £3,650. A buoyant trade for all of the smalls on offer, with power tools and bygones in particular being the pick of the day.
