Stags Farm Agency department is pleased to announce the successful sale of Walkers Farm, near Stoke St Gregory in Somerset.

As a result, we launched the property to the market on the 24 June 2020, soon after the end of the first lockdown. As soon as marketing began it was clear that there was a combination of strong interest from distinct buyers, namely, residential buyers interested in the residential element of the farm including the holiday cottages, and land buyers with strong local interest in the land itself. However, what was most surprising was the number of people looking at the property as a whole, attracted by the opportunities the farm offered in its entirety.
After a six-week period of marketing a sale was agreed and, working with a local solicitor firm in Taunton, exchange of contracts and completion was done and dusted by the end of November.”
Stags were able to assist further to ensure the move was as smooth as possible for the vendors by contacting Stags On-site sales team to advise on the most suitable method of disposal of the dead stock. A farm sale was then quickly arranged as soon as contracts were exchanged, to ensure that it was undertaken while it was possible to go ahead under Covid Safe measures.
