Whilst current Coronavirus restrictions are in place people are turning to technology to explore properties. Of course, whilst we firmly believe that virtual tours will not replace face to face viewings, it does give buyers the opportunity to understand more about a property and get a feel for it before an actual viewing.
Our view is that even when we do return to ‘normal’, it is likely to be the ‘new’ normal and the ability to view properties virtually before making the trip in person will become part of the house searching process. This will of course save time for both vendors and buyers.
We are also rapidly developing the technology to conduct a 3D Tour by video call or telephone. Known as ‘GoToView’, we will be able to walk and talk you through a property, answering questions and describing in more detail. This will take 3D Tours to the next level and make a virtual viewing truly interactive.
3D tours require a visit to your property by a professional, therefore, we are launching this product now with a view to taking bookings for appointments once lockdown restrictions are relaxed.
