The Stags On Site and Online Sales department held another very successful online timed dispersal auction for a client in North Devon.
The dispersal of tractors, vehicles, farm machinery, livestock and general equipment received huge interest and the prices achieved exceeded both the auctioneer’s and vendor’s expectations. The option of choosing to disperse the items by online timed auction was taken mainly due to lack of parking to hold an on site sale and the vendor being on his own with another full-time job. Stags was able to organise getting the items ready for the sale as well as being present and overseeing all the viewing and collection days.
The vendor was incredibly impressed with Stags’ ability to prepare and manage the whole sale process, thus taking a lot of stress away from the vendor. He commented after the sale “Chris and the team are very can-do in their approach. They came armed and ready to do the job, relieving me of the stress and hassle. Prices achieved for all lots exceeded my expectations. Exceptional service.” The online auctions are marketed nationally and allow buyers time to consider their bids and allow convenient times to collect successful purchases.
In 2022 alone, the auctioneers have seen over 85% of their clients opting to use the online timed auction method of sale, clearly demonstrating the popularity of this auction system. The average reach of each dispersal sale is over 200,000 views to the catalogue and there are more than 9,000 users (and growing) registered to bid on the Stags auction sales platform.
Being able to reach so many potential purchasers, along with the ability to advertise to specific target markets, has led to recent successful online timed auctions, with dispersal sales for a butcher’s shop, complete sawmill and the contents of a wedding venue also being conducted.
