Proceed out of Barnstaple on the A39 sign posted Lynton. After passing the North Devon District Hospital on your right, turn left onto the B3230 sign posted Muddiford and Ilfracombe. Continue through the village of Muddiford, passing the turning to Berry Down and Combe Martin. Continue on the B3230, you will eventually come to Milltown village turn right where there is a sign post to The Round House and a Stags to let board, continue up this lane until you see a turning to the right to Whitefield Lodge next to a stone shed, take this turning and proceed up the drive. Continue along the front of the building and the entrance to number 1 will be found on the right.
