From the A377 Taw Valley road and about a mile to the west of Chulmleigh at Leigh Cross take the turning signposted to Bridge Reeve. Proceed along this lane down towards the river, cross over the bridge and turn left. Continue along this lane and proceed up the hill past the thatch cottage on your left and stay on this country lane for about 1½ miles. At Stable Green Cross take the road signposted to Winkleigh. After about ½ mile at Tinkers Cross turn right. Continue on this country lane and the property will be found on the left after about a quarter of a mile.
