Tiverton Professional Services welcomes three new team members

The Tiverton Professional Services team is pleased to welcome three new additions to the team: Olivia Hutchings, Jack Dafters and Amelia Dare.

Olivia joins the Tiverton team having previously been based in the Launceston office. Olivia is working towards sitting her professional exams and is involved in a variety of work including formal Red Book valuations of farms, residential property and bare land across Devon and Cornwall. She is also involved in preparing and submitting planning applications, preparation of BPS and CSS applications and management of grazing licences.

Olivia joined Stags in September 2020 having previously attended Plymouth University sitting the Rural Business Management undergraduate course, followed by the postgraduate Rural Estate Management course at the Royal Agricultural University.

Jack has recently finished studying a Rural Land and Business Management masters at the University of Reading which he says inspired him to join the Professional Services team. He was born and raised in Mid Devon and enjoys working in the area. Jack joins as a Graduate Rural Surveyor and assists with Valuations, Estate Management, Grants/ Subsidies and Landlord/Tenant Negotiations.

Amelia joins as an Apprentice Rural Surveyor and is currently undertaking the Chartered Surveyor (Rural) Degree Apprenticeship at Harper Adams University. This includes going to University for a week every month, alongside gaining experience and assisting with work completed by the Professional Services team. Amelia has always lived in the area and often works on the family dairy, beef and sheep farm.

All three are on the Stags ‘Early Careers Programme’ which provides a variety of work with early responsibilities allowing new starters to find their feet and establish where their specialty may eventually lie. Career development is a key aspect of the ‘Early Careers Programme’ along with providing a structured APC (Assessment of Professional Competency) training programme.
