Top 5 Stags Farm Agency sales in 2022

2022 was one of the most successful years for the Stags Farm Agency team, with over £48 million worth of sales.  

Below is a selection of some of our top sales in 2022.


1.       Clannaborough Barton – 441 acres















 


Clannaborough Barton is a first-class commercial farm with a south-facing Georgian farmhouse set in a commanding position looking over the beautiful Mid Devon countryside. With five residential cottages and an array of commercial units, the farm was able to generate a substantial commercial and residential income. The land comprised of grade II easy working soils spanning 441 acres. Receiving some strong interest, the farm sold in excess of the guide of £7.5m.  


2.      
Huish Barton – 316.90 acres



An arable farm situated within Exmoor National Park, Huish Barton comprises of a substantial, historical Grade II Listed house with walled garden and an exceptional range of stone barns, farm buildings and productive arable and pasture land with pockets of woodland. The farm extends to 316.90 acres of grade II and III land with exceptional views towards the Bristol channel and South Wales.


3.       Langabeare Barton – 289 acres



Langabeare Barton, an extensive livestock farm with a principal Devon longhouse, sits centrally within its own land. The land lies within a ring fence of predominantly level and gently sloping land used for grazing, mowing and arable cropping with small pockets of woodland offering conservation appeal. Shortly after marketing, a sale was agreed and the farm successfully sold to farmer buyers.


4.       Talland Barton Farm – 102.49 acres






















A residential farm 300m from Talland Bay Beach. The property comprises of a substantial farmhouse with two letting flats and a traditional farmyard, with 102.49 acres of gently sloping productive land. The farm successfully sold in two lots.   


5.      
Land at Town Farm – 119.37 acres



A sizeable parcel of agricultural land, previously used for the grazing of livestock and cutting of grass crops. Down to pasture, the land included a small area of broadleaf woodland and generated a significant amount of interest from farmer and investor buyers. The land sold in excess of the guide of £750,000.
