Stags Farm Agency is delighted to report on the recent successful sale of Hellings Close, Bathealton

The sale of Hellings Close, Bathealton has recently completed after being offered for sale by Stags Farm Agency and Stags Wellington office with a guide price of £1,100,000 for the whole farm.

The farm is situated in a fine rural position within easy reach of Wiveliscombe, Wellington and Taunton, with views stretching over the Taunton Vale towards the Blackdown and Quantock Hills.

The property includes a south-facing bungalow (with agricultural occupancy condition) which requires modernisation but offers the potential to create a fantastic family home.

The whole farm has 54.82 acres, comprising a mixture of gently sloping and steeper grass land, two lakes and attractive woodland. To the east of the farm bungalow is a range of agricultural buildings offering potential for alternative uses (subject to planning).

The farm was offered to the market as a whole or in four lots and, after almost 40 viewings, Stags received a range of offers on individual lots and a combination of lots.

Andrew Dodds, Stags Farm Agent who handled the sale, comments: “Hellings Close had exceptional views from most aspects, especially from the bungalow and one of the fields within Lot 4, which was used as a beacon in the late Queen’s Jubilee celebrations. We agreed a sale within one month of launching to two motivated buyers.”
