Stags were delighted to attend the Rent Smart Devon Event, organised and delivered by East Devon, Exeter City, Mid Devon and Teignbridge Councils at Exeter Racecourse.
At a time when landlords are concerned about the potential changes as a result of the Tenant Reform Bill, the event provided a superb platform to be able to talk with landlords and answer any questions whilst providing some reassurance on the months to come. In addition, some beneficial presentations delivered by Tozers, Peplows, Phillip Keddie and the National Landlord Association, provided further guidance and advice to all those attending.
Claire Pile MARLA of Stags confirmed “With over 150 landlords in attendance, it was clear that there is a thirst for information within the sector, which was really encouraging to see. With ever-changing legislation and compliance, as experts, we are keen to share our knowledge to help landlords ensure that they are doing things correctly. Letting a property is not easy and all too often its only once the problems occur that we become involved and are able to help.”
