Jessica is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and RICS Registered Valuer. Having graduated from the Royal Agricultural University with a First Class Honours Degree in Rural Land Management, Jessica returned to the South West in September 2016 and joined Stags Professional Services department in 2020.
Jessica covers the Mid and North Devon areas working from the Tiverton office and undertakes a wide range of professional work including formal valuations, landlord and tenant matters, rural planning applications and compensation claims.
Jessica also has experience in advising on rural grants and subsidy applications including Basic Payment Scheme and Countryside Stewardship applications, ranging from large mixed holdings to woodland management. Prior to joining Stags in 2020, Jessica worked in estate management covering a portfolio of estates across Devon and was actively involved in the day to day management.
Recent examples of work:
· Valuation of a mixed use property being acquired by a charity including farmhouse, holiday cottage and block of land
· Drafting of numerous Farm Business Tenancies
· Putting together a Higher Tier Countryside Stewardship application for a 600-acre mixed holding, securing a further 10 years of funding
· Submission of a planning application for the conversion of a traditional stone barn into commercial premises.
