Cow-y-jack stands on the north west edge of the village of Coverack, a picturesque harbour village located on the south-eastern coast of the Lizard Peninsula. With a rich maritime and fishing industry, this idyllic cove is now a popular holiday destination and bustles over the summer months with a range of restaurants and shops together with the Coverack Wind Surfing Centre which has a variety of water sports on offer.

The peninsula is the most southerly point of England with wide expanses designated as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and owned by private estates or The National Trust. Other nearby beaches include those at Kennack Sands and Poldhu whilst the beautiful wooded creeks of the Helford River are also readily accessible.

There is direct access onto the South West Coast Path and from here breath-taking views can be enjoyed no matter what direction one takes. Within a short drive is the larger village of St Keverne which, again, provides a range of day to day facilities whilst more extensive amenities are available within the historic market town of Helston which is some 12 miles distant.

Said to be over 300 years old Cow-y-jack is a captivating and entirely enchanting 4 bedroomed period farmhouse, set at the end of a long no through road within a large established garden enjoying views to Coverack and the sea beyond. Set in grounds of approximately half an acre, the property boasts a wealth of charm and character.

The Farmhouse is accessed from the rear courtyard and into the wooden panelled hallways, off which you access the charming dual aspect living room with period fireplace and enjoy views to the front garden and out to sea. The farmhouse kitchen / dining room with commanding inglenook fireplace, is the heart of the house with farm stable doors to the front garden and patioed seating area.

On the first floor is a large landing off which you find three south facing bedrooms with elevated views of the garden, countryside and sea one bedroom with en-suite and family bathroom.

To the front of the property is beautiful south facing well established garden with an array of mature shrubs and trees with hidden seating throughout. To the rear is a cobbled courtyard with outbuilding, raised areas of lawn and parking for 2-3 cars.

Strictly and only by prior appointment with Stags' Truro office on 01872 264488.

Proceed toward Coverack on the B3294 and before entering the village Cow-y-jack is the first right hand turning. Along a long gravel lane, Cow-y-jack is on your left had side.
