The Farmhouse is constructed of stone and cob elevations underneath a slate roof, and requires complete renovation throughout, but has many period features including open-grate fireplaces and could once again be a comfortable family home.
The accommodation includes a spacious kitchen / breakfast room with a tiled floor and a Rayburn Royal range (used for cooking and hot water), a sitting room with a fireplace and stairs to the first floor, a living room with large windows looking out across the adjacent valley, a second kitchen / dining room and a utility room. In total the grounds extend to approximately 0.9 acres.

The Old Stables (12.49m x 4.31m) is a two storey barn constructed of stone with a pitched slate roof and has planning consent for conversion to a three bedroom dwelling. On the ground floor are stables and storage areas with external stone steps leading up to the first floor, which is open with a good timber floor. Electricity is connected.

79'0" x 59'9". Please note that the planning application for converting The Old Stables requires this building to be taken down. Constructed in the late 1990s with a clear-span steel frame. Block and space boarded elevations. Concrete floor. Fibre cement roof.

Positioned to the east is a single, south-facing field totalling 17.09 acres (6.92 hectares). There is access directly on to the road which forms the northern boundary.

Planning consent was granted for the conversion The Old Stables, by Taunton Deane Borough Council on the 7th July 2008 under reference no. 01 /08/0002. We understand that the consent has been implemented by virtue of discharge of planning conditions and commencement of certain works on site.
