A superbly situated detached character residence, garage, attractive gardens, multiple car parking & two paddocks. Countryside views. 5 bedrooms. Detached garage. Fine gardens. Well-presented. 2 paddocks. EPC Band F.
Tregonning Cottage is situated in an individual rural position about half a mile outside the popular village of Godolphin Cross with its public house, chapel and primary school. The nearest town is Helston about 5 miles to the south-east. The historic port of Porthleven with its award winning restaurants is about 6 miles to the south and along the south coast are sandy beaches and scenic coastal walks.
From Granny Polly Lane being the stone entrance lane, there is access directly to a stone chipped car parking and turning area to the rear of the house and about 90 yards further on is a separate access to an extensive level stone chipped car parking and turning area for a number of vehicles from which there is pedestrian access back to the house via the front garden.
Available for the first time in the open market since 1982, Tregonning Cottage presents a fine opportunity to purchase a well located five bedroom period country house. The house offers a great deal of versatility, having originally been a pair of cottages. There two staircases leading to two small landings off which there are bedrooms and bathrooms. It is considered the house could be lived in, as has been the case in recent times, as one family residence, or even be divided into two properties. The property includes an oil fired central heating system and is double glazed.
