We are looking for an individual to work in the successful Plymouth office. The role will be responsible for actively generating new business through networking and referring new business across all service lines; managing existing buyers and cross-sell where possible, negotiation of sales through exchange of contracts; communicating fully with all parties concerned; managing the client from marketing through to sales delivery and building and maintaining goodwill, confidentiality and trust with clients and sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience in a residential agency and have a sound business knowledge and keen awareness of the completion and environment. The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic and driven with eloquent communication skills and proven sales and negotiation skills. The candidate will need to possess the ability to work in a team and also be IT literate.

Saturdays as part of a rota, and will need use of a car. Salary details available upon application, commensurate with experience and skills.

Stags are currently seeking a Head of Professional Services for Cornwall. The right candidate will ideally have a minimum of 5 years post RICS qualification experience and Fellowship to CAAV.

You will be confident in your abilities to manage a team and someone who can really drive and expand the current business. This really is a rare opportunity and an important role in Stags with career potential.

The position offers a varied and interesting workload including formal valuations for all purposes, rural planning work, Landlord/Tenant, Compulsory Purchase and compensation work, handling the Environment Agency contract work as well as Basic Payment Scheme applications and environmental scheme applications. The team works closely with Stags offices, property professionals and property and land owning clients.

Stags offers graduates very broad ‘hands on’ experience serving our, predominantly agricultural, client base.  All of our recent APC trainees have passed the RICS interview process first time.  

Work areas in which the graduate will gain experience include: Valuation, Planning, Compensation, Property Sales and Rental, Estate Management, Grants and Subsidies, Landlord and Tenant negotiations.  

An individual’s training programme is tailored in line with his/her aspirations and chosen APC competencies, whilst being based principally with the firm’s Professional Services department, training will include a period with Estate and Farm Agency and possibly our auctioneering department.
