Stags clock up over 20,000 sq.ft of rural office lettings in 2 years.

Stags clock up over 20,000 sq.ft of rural office lettings in 2 years.

With the recent letting of Units 1 - 4 Trent Court, Trent between Yeovil and Sherborne, Stags have completed the letting of in excess of 20,000 sq.ft of offices on rural business parks across Somerset and West Dorset since March 2007.

Commenting Robert Clark who heads Stags Commercial across Somerset and Dorset said “since most rural office parks have been developed to provide office units ranging from 500 - 1,000 sq.ft serving the smaller regional businesses and the testing market conditions of the last nine months we are pleased to have reached this landmark so quickly.

The role of the rural business park and the part it plays in the local economy should not be under estimated. Many small and medium sized businesses see the huge advantages of working in rural areas rather than in the urban conurbations and even in a more difficult economic climate demand levels are generally good. The growth in popularity of rural office parks is down to a number of factors - improved IT and telecommunication systems, minimal traffic congestion and ample car parking together with quality offices and competitive rental levels all play a part.

One of our aims when we set up Stags Commercial in the area 30 months ago was to compliment our established farming and rural consultancy business by becoming a leading commercial property consultant to the rural community. Over the last two years we have been fortunate enough to secure attractive instructions from rural landowners who have been very supportive in helping us meet this aim.

Unit 4 comprises first floor office space, w.c. and an ancillary store totalling approximately 60.2 Sq.m (647 sq.ft) and is being offered at a quoting rent of £9,000 per annum by way of a new lease.
