STAGS ANNOUNCE SPONSORSHIP OF EXETER PHILHARMONIC CHOIR

STAGS ANNOUNCE SPONSORSHIP OF EXETER PHILHARMONIC CHOIR

Stags have announced a year long sponsorship of Exeter Philharmonic Choir which will see their specialist city homes department in Exeter donating ten per cent of their fees on ‘sponsored’ properties to the choir.

Chris Read, head of residential property sales for the city said ‘All of our offices throughout Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset play an active role in their local communities and we are delighted to be involved with the choir. They are a great example of what can be done with enthusiasm, commitment to excellence and a willingness to take on challenging works. The standard and variety of works that they present is of the highest standard and they are fantastic cultural ambassadors for Exeter’

Geoff Poad, President of the Choir said ‘We are delighted that a company of the quality of Stags has decided to support the Choir. Their commitment to provide the best possible service to their clients mirrors the Choir’s determination to provide the very highest quality in music and we hope that the many people who value the musical life of the City will take up the scheme ’.

During the course of 2008 all anyone with a property to sell in Exeter has to do is let Stags Exeter office know that they want to sponsor the choir when they book a marketing appraisal and Stags will do the rest. As well as providing financial sponsorship of the choir Stags will be marking their sponsorship by including the choir’s logo on their marketing material in Exeter and promoting their busy schedule of concerts.

About the Exeter Philharmonic Choir

Exeter Philharmonic Choir has performed concerts in the City every year since its foundation in 1846. It continues to delight audiences with its performances of both well loved and lesser known works under Andrew Millington, Director of Music at Exeter Cathedral and the Choir’s current Director of Music. The Choir is joined in its performances by professional players, including the Sinfonietta led by Richard Studt, and delights in welcoming up and coming soloists to its performances. In the Spring of 2007, the Choir toured southern Germany, giving three performances of a mixed programme including sacred works from across Europe, to enthusiastic audiences.

Friends of Exeter Philharmonic Choir offers the satisfaction of being a vital part of the success of the choir, and a selection of valuable privileges.
