Stags’ latest online machinery sale goes national
Stags saw an increased entry of more than 80 vehicles, tractors, trailers and items of machinery and equipment entered for its most recent online timed auction.
The sale attracted items from Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset and saw an increased interest from purchasers with more than 550 registering, some from as far away as Edinburgh.
“The huge geographical reach this sales method can produce was demonstrated by the sale of a Benford 3tonne dumper truck, selling for £2,750 to a building firm located in Northumberland,” said Harvey Pile, Stags auctioneer.
Other items selling well included two Massey Ferguson 575 Tractors a Renault Midlum 180 Lorry and a 2014 Amazone ZA-M 3001 fertiliser spreader along with a quantity of 16ft Portequip hogg feeders.
